My Artwork

These are some of my drawings for my class in school, Art History. The 1st one we all had to copy upside down. It was fun. The 2nd we had to pick a shoe (I picked my brown Converse High tops) and do a contour drawing of it (a contour drawing is where you draw something without shading it in or coloring any part of it.

Then for homework we had to draw two contour drawings (I forgot we weren't supposed to shade it so I had to erase it) the first one was of my sunglasses and the second one was of a candle in a can.

Now for this weeks (technically it was 2 weeks ago but I haven't handed it in yet because we've been at the beach for 2 weeks) homework we had to go outside and draw 2 angled drawings. This is the 1st and it is of the outside of our condo. I hope you enjoyed my artwork. BYE!

Dream

There is a door,
Just a door,
Nothing else but darkness
Surrounding me.
Wait,
There is a light,
inside the door,
Nothing else but darkness
Surrounding me.
I feel as though I am flying
Through space,
As I realize this
Stars appear out of nowhere
I am scared
for what ever I imagine
appears in this world.
It is as if I live in a dream.
Yes,
I suppose this is a dream.
My Dream.

What is ths strange emotion?
I feel like I will burst with exitment.
The lump in my throught is nw gone.
Laughter overwhelms me.
Now I struggle to sit still.
But I can not for this strange emotion cntorls me.
I had no idea one could feel so miraculous.
Now I realize what I've been missing.
Joy.
Yes, thats what I said.
Joy.
How can such a simple word contain such powerful emotions.
The world will never know.
